I have been thinking a lot of about structured brainstorming games (as I have talked a bit about in a past article) and may publish a book of my favorite ones. I notice I use such games, not only in team building exercises (as actual activities or simply as warm-ups to bigger activities) but also in teaching (sometimes, I teach art classes) and during networking events. Finally, I find brainstorming games that are structured to be good standard exercises for a thinktank or other [problem-solving group.

We’ve been running the Food For Thought team building game for a while now, which concentrates on various historic and delicious aspects of Philadelphia (though versions for other cities may certainly debut). Now we have started a new fun-packed version that deals solely with the famous Olde City section of Philadelphia. There is so much food-related history just in this one area it is amazing, and definitely warrants its own team building treasure hunt style activity. Yummy!

Wrote a quick article recently about the curious world of game testing as it applies to Team Building Games. I find the process fascinating and hope to provide more insights into Team Building Game development (and testing) as time goes on.
